Signal StimCardio's NeuroPulse pilot shows reduced AFib recurrence with wearable neuromodulation after ablation
Summary
StimCardio reported results from its NeuroPulse pilot study evaluating a wrist-worn, non-invasive median nerve stimulation device called Rhyvive for reducing atrial fibrillation recurrence after ablation. Of 77 randomized patients, 59 were included in the modified intention-to-treat analysis. At 6 months, the neuromodulation group had a 90.0% arrhythmia-free rate compared to 80.8% for the sham group, with 12 recurrence events versus 28 (p=0.025). The device is currently restricted to investigational use under U.S. law. StimCardio plans a larger multicenter trial. Results were presented at HRX Live 2026 and published in the journal Heart Rhythm.
