The lock combines 3D facial recognition with liveness detection, a curved-touch AI fingerprint sensor that recognizes in as fast as 0.15 seconds, built-in Wi-Fi for remote monitoring and control via the DESLOC app, and voice-assistant integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Its integrated perovskite solar panel recharges a removable 10,000 mAh battery even in low-light conditions, which CEO Mark Dong said was designed to address the "power anxiety" that remains one of the biggest frustrations with existing smart locks.
