Signal SES completes O3b mPOWER medium-earth-orbit constellation with final three-satellite launch

Summary

SES launched its 11th, 12th and 13th O3b mPOWER medium-earth-orbit satellites aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The launch rounds out the O3b mPOWER constellation, joining the 10 satellites already in service. The new satellites will undergo orbit-raising, testing and commissioning before entering service by mid-2027. The constellation delivers capacity ranging from tens of megabits per second to several gigabits per second at any given site. It primarily targets enterprise, government, mobility and telecom customers in remote or hard-to-reach locations.
