Signal 11 percent of organizations report fully scaled technology, 79 percent in the top three stages

Summary

KPMG measured how mature organizations consider themselves across ten technology categories, including cybersecurity, data and analytics, and XaaS. On average, 11 percent describe themselves as fully scaled and focused on continuous improvement. A further 36 percent have funded strategies that are on track to scale, and 32 percent have funding but are running into roadblocks during implementation. Taken together, 79 percent sit somewhere in the top three stages of the maturity model. Cybersecurity is the category most often reported as fully scaled, at 18 percent, followed by modern delivery practices such as Agile, DevOps, and low-code at 14 percent.
