Signal Orchestration ranks first in importance at 88% with 7% making great progress
Summary
Dynamic orchestration of work ranks first among this year's trends in Deloitte's survey, with 88% of leaders calling it extremely or very important to speed up how people, skills and resources are coordinated. Yet just 7% say they are making great progress toward that goal. The resulting 81-point gap between importance and action is the widest recorded in the survey. Deloitte also reports that organizations leading in orchestration are about twice as likely to report stronger financial results and meaningful work for employees. The report proposes four actions to close the gap: identifying and creating capability and capacity, placing decisions with the right people, building modular teams and using AI to help orchestrate.
