Signal Worker AI use rises from 22% to 88% in two years, but stays shallow

Employees increasingly see AI as a collaborator built into everyday workflows rather than as a separate tool. Even so, most use remains shallow, focused on help with individual tasks rather than deeper joint creation. The same study found that 83% of daily AI users are confident their skills will stay relevant in three years, against 67% of occasional users. EY concludes that the path from tool use to real partnership between people and AI is only just beginning.
