Signal Field Medical reports 12-month Field PULSE trial results with 94.2% pulmonary vein isolation durability

Summary

Field Medical's first-in-human Field PULSE trial reported 12-month outcomes showing 94.2% per-vein pulmonary vein isolation durability with an optimized waveform. Median ablation time was 13 minutes, with the fastest case at 7.7 minutes. At 12 months, 80% of patients remained arrhythmia-free, while 49% required additional non-pulmonary-vein ablation. The trial was conducted at Mount Sinai Health System under principal investigator Dr. Vivek Reddy. The device has FDA Breakthrough Device designation and is enrolled in the FDA TAP Pilot Program, with clinical development expanding toward a ventricular tachycardia indication. Results were unveiled at HRX Live 2026 and published in JACC: Clinical Electrophysiology.
