Signal Lockable phone pouches sold to schools, courts and households

Summary

This signal is a lockable pouch used to create phone-free zones. The service includes not only the pouch but also a docking station that unlocks it. It is marketed to schools, courthouses, events and homes. Sitra cites the provider's own material, dated September 2024. Temporarily taking phones away from people is turned into a packaged product that institutions and families can buy. Sitra lists it among signals behind an imagined 2046 magazine column in which digital peace becomes a key selling point of travel.
