Signal Nscale and Figure Sign Strategic Partnership to Power the Next Generation of Physical AI

Summary

Humanoid robotics company Figure and AI infrastructure provider Nscale signed a strategic partnership. The two companies agreed to deploy up to 100000 GPUs built on Nvidia's next-generation rack-scale Vera Rubin platform. The initial compute commitment stands at 3.5 billion dollars, with an intention to scale it up to more than 6 billion dollars. Deployment is targeted for the second half of 2027 at a site in Barstow, Texas. Nscale is also making a strategic equity investment in Figure alongside the deal. The two companies are further exploring ways to extend Nscale's supply chain toward the use of humanoid robots.
