KPMG observes that as organizations partner and scale, the governance and ethical standards of their partners become a key concern. Collaboration is no longer only about access to expertise but also about whom an organization chooses to trust. This year, technology executives place security concerns, as well as intellectual property and data protection concerns, among their top five barriers to greater collaboration on emerging technologies. The report responds by highlighting tools for assessing risk, such as open model evaluation frameworks. It also reports plans to strengthen data sovereignty audits across partner ecosystems.
