Signal High performers both collaborate more and scrutinize partners more

Summary

KPMG finds that high performers work more closely with external partners and scrutinize them more carefully at the same time. Some 85 percent of high performers collaborate frequently with partners in technology ecosystems, compared with 73 percent of other organizations. Nearly half of them, 49 percent, plan to strengthen data sovereignty audits across their partnerships, versus 35 percent of the rest. They are also 21 percentage points more likely to increase scrutiny of where their cybersecurity partners are located over the next year. The report presents this combination of openness and vigilance as part of what distinguishes leading organizations.
