Signal 57% rank health professionals among their strongest influences, inside a wider network
Summary
PwC's data shows that healthcare providers remain central to trust in health decisions. Some 57 percent of consumers say recommendations from healthcare professionals are among the strongest influences on their health and wellbeing actions. Yet professionals now operate within a broader decision network. Among respondents, 52 percent cite their own curiosity, 50 percent friends, family, or coworkers, and 27 percent data from apps and wearables. PwC sees the opportunity for providers in turning this wider network into earlier, better-coordinated care.
