Signal Consumers name six recurring health goals: longevity, stress, sleep, weight, growth, appearance
Summary
PwC's survey asked consumers to rank up to three primary health and wellness goals. The goals that recur most are living a longer and healthier life, reducing stress or improving mental health, improving sleep, and losing weight or improving body composition. Personal growth, including better focus and concentration, and feeling more confident in one's appearance also feature prominently. Fitness performance and belonging to a wellness community appear less often. PwC argues that companies should engage consumers on the goals they are already pursuing rather than on product categories alone.
