Signal Indonesia seeks AI sovereignty through local models, digital talent

On the infrastructure side, a 360 MW data center is under construction in Batam, to be operated by Firmus, housing up to 170,000 Nvidia accelerators and scheduled to begin operating in the first quarter of 2027.
