Signal 25% used generative AI shopping tools in 2025 and 31% intend to
Summary
Capgemini's survey tracks steady growth in the use of generative AI shopping tools. By 2025, 25 percent of consumers had already used such tools, up from 20 percent in November 2023 and 24 percent a year later. A further 31 percent say they are aware of them and intend to use them in future. The report places this in a wider shift in which shoppers do more research before buying and are no longer passive targets of marketing. Together, current and intending users make up more than half of respondents.
