Signal Report forecasts half of security software spending going to preemptive solutions by 2030

Gartner forecasts that by 2030, half of security software budgets will be devoted to preventive products rather than traditional detection and response. Preemptive cybersecurity uses AI-based methods to foresee attacks, break them up and render them harmless before they occur. Gartner describes tools such as deceiving attackers, automatically shifting the target surface, hiding system details, predicting threats and managing exposure in advance.
