Issue Defence reform and game-changing future warfare capabilities for the Northeast Asian security environment

Responding to the Northeast Asian security environment, the report proposes defence reform and innovation. Game-changing capabilities for future warfare would be developed and operated. A global defence innovation ecosystem would be advanced. These steps aim to respond to a paradigm shift in future warfare and to secure the sustainable global competitiveness of Korea's defence industry. The report also pairs defence reform, security innovation and advanced defence industry development with peace-building as the security track of its inter-Korean approach. It is a core task to be pursued alongside peaceful coexistence policy on a base of security centred on the alliance with the United States.
