Signal KISDI forecasts Korean ICT exports to grow 7.5 percent in 2026 and 1.6 percent a year to 2030
Summary
KISDI expects Korea's ICT exports to grow 7.5 percent in 2026 to about 283.3 billion dollars. Big tech investment in AI infrastructure is set to raise shipments of high-bandwidth memory, server DRAM and solid-state drives, while US tariffs and slower growth in China restrain exports of devices, appliances and components. Item growth diverges sharply in 2026, with computers and peripherals up 12.1 percent and semiconductors up 10.5 percent, against 1.2 percent for displays and 0.5 percent for communication and broadcasting equipment. Over 2026 to 2030 exports are forecast to grow 1.6 percent a year on average and to reach roughly 301.4 billion dollars in 2030. Continued demand for premium memory and SSDs is weighed against weaker global demand for finished sets such as handsets and televisions and sharper competition in OLED panels.
