Signal Only 19% will pay for shopping automation outright, 22% only if bundled
Summary
Capgemini asked frequent chatbot users whether they would pay for assistants that place orders on their behalf. Only 11 percent would pay a one-time fee and 8 percent would accept a monthly subscription. Another 22 percent would consider paying only if the service were bundled with extras such as discounts or rewards. Some 28 percent refuse to pay at all, and 31 percent want to try it first before deciding. Direct willingness to pay therefore stays around one in five, far below the level of use.
