Trend Transparency and user control become the price of AI-mediated commerce
Summary
Capgemini argues that earning trust has become essential in AI-powered commerce, and that transparency and user control are what build it. Some 76 percent of consumers want to set firm limits, such as spending caps or product categories, before a digital assistant acts for them. Being able to adjust preferences, accept or reject suggestions, and manage data sharing makes users more confident. More than six in ten trust an assistant more when it explains its recommendations and actions. With that clarity, users feel in control and become more willing to share data and try advanced features.
